Deeksha Mahila Welfare Society & Mandali

With women's empowerment as the goal, Deeksha Mahila Welfare Society & Mandali was started in 1999 in Veerasagaram village, Badangi Mandal, Vijayanagaram district, with the aim of providing welfare and social justice to women, tribals, backward classes, students, youth, and farmers. This organization, Deeksha Mahila Welfare Society & Mandali, was formed and shaped by a team of women passionate about ensuring women's self-reliance, social justice, financial independence, skill development, and sustainable livelihoods.

 1. DMWS has appreciated by Director of Youth Services , Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderababd an occupation of National Integration Camp at Kuppam on 1-8-2003.
2. DMWS got Out Standing Youth Club Award in Vizianagaram district for the 2004-2005 by Nehru Yuva Kendram on 12-01-2006.

6. DMWS has Appreciative and Awarded on Excellent service for rendered during HUDHUD Cyclone Relief Operations the year 2014 in Andhra Pradesh by Government of Andhra Pradesh.
7. DMWS has Appreciated and Awarded by Integrated Child and Women, Govt of Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8-3-2015.
8. DMWS has Appreciated by District Collector of Vizianagaram District on occupation of Independence Days and got Certificate on 1-08-2016.
9. DMWS is the Lead-NGO Network to functionally represent Child Rights Advocacy Foundation (CRAF) which is a State Body in Vizianagaram district. DMWS also involves in the child rights process which is a critical piece in Vizianagaram district.
